You will either find a cat owner, who has never bathed a cat or you will find someone who has got scars all over his or her body to prove the activity to others. Cat owners usually hire a cat bathing professional, who has enough amount of experience to bathe cats without hurting the cat and getting scars all around the body.

Get Organized

It is important to keep everything handy while you are bathing your cat, as you would not have an opportunity to get things in the middle of the bathing process. Unlike dogs and humans, cats are quite complicated and are known to cause scars while bathing. Ensure to take all the necessary accessories with first aid kits, since the chances of getting injured or getting a scar is more. Some of the most important accessories are cat soaps, shampoos, toys, cat food, first aid kits and a mat to protect yourself.

Groom Your Cat

Grooming your cat plays an important role, since you will end up spending a lot of time in bathing. Cats are not like dogs and does not really care about human being’s emotion. Try to groom your cat to the maximum extent, as it does not give a lot of comfort while bathing your cat. Always try to use quality cat grooming kit, as a small damage can make your cat discomfort while grooming and while bathing your cat.

Bathing Process

Try to bath your cat slowly in the beginning, as your cat needs to experience a proper level of comfort while taking the bath. Try to use mild temperature water always in the initial stage, since most of the cats get anxious and do not co-operate the process. Increase the temperature and the flow of water, as you would need to wash off the  bugs and dirt from its body effectively. Slowly rub your cat with the help of detergent and shampoo to clean your cat’s fur properly.

Prefer to use only a doctor recommended or quality oriented shampoo, detergent and cloths, since cats cannot stand to a foul or a bad smell from the detergent or from cloths. Ensure to dry your cat immediately after the bath, as most of the cats are sensitive to foreign particles like detergent, hot water and clothes and could lose out fur easily. Drying your cat properly from an experienced professional helps your cat to regain fur without losing too much.
