Getting a pet is one of the most incredible good feelings that one can ever experience in their entire life. Bringing home that little ball of fur that will gradually turn into your ball of happiness in the house and be everybody's favorite not only in your place but for five homes in your row. They will be the best things you'll wake up to and the best thing you go to sleep with. I am Snigdha Gaur from Karol Bagh, Delhi, and I have been a pet parent to a lovely Golden Retriever Pup for the past year. In this blog, I will share my pet parenting with Mr n Mrs Pet and my pet parenting experience.
We contacted Mr n Mrs Pet in June 2021, looking for a pet dog. Initially, we had some breeds in mind, but we were unsure which one to go for. Here comes one of the best parts, their executive seemed to be quite knowledgeable and enlightened us about how specific dog breeds would suit our lifestyle. We chose to get a Golden Retriever because my husband and I always had a thing for Golden Retrievers and admired how adorable they were.

After considering all the options, we found our perfect puppy, and they started the further procedure of sending the puppy to us in Delhi. They got their initial vaccinations and health check-ups done. We were excited to meet our little goldy pup and couldn't wait. They kept attending to our impatient inquiries every day until the delivery patiently. They kept us informed about every update in the process and the journey of our beloved pup to us.
On 15th June 2021, Casper came into our home and became the love of our lives. By the time Casper reached us, their Petcare Guidance Team had prepared us on how to take care of our little Casper. They gave us all kinds of guidance regarding what to feed the puppy when it arrived and shared a puppy feeding guide with us for the next two months. They prepared us on how to handle the puppy when it reaches our home for the next one week so that it feels at home and adjusts perfectly to our home's environment. The sweetest thing was they would call us weekly to check how the puppy was adapting and how we are pet parenting. They would solve every silly query of mine over phone calls about Casper's behavior and diet almost every alternate day.
Along with Casper, they also sent me all the essentials required to take care of a puppy, including a dog bed, puppy food, dog brush, pet wipes, pee training pads, chew toys, calcium bones, puppy cerelac, dog bowl, dog shampoo, dog dry bath, etc. This dog parenting starter kit helped me in raising Casper's first few months. We were having a great time with Casper, and he soon became everybody's cuddle buddy in the house and with everyone in our locality. He would go for a walk, and no person did not know his name or wouldn't stop to cuddle or pet him.
When he became of 4 months, Mr n Mrs Pet helped us with his grooming by sending their professional pet groomers at home. He needed some obedience training, and we decided to give him basic training with the help of Mr n Mrs Pet's professional dog training at home, and we were spared the hassle of taking him to dog training classes every day. At a point in time, my husband and I got very caught up with work for 2-3 months, and we couldn't even take Casper for his daily walks because we were both doing late nights at work. Mr n Mrs Pet came to the rescue with their trustable dog walkers, who were experienced and genuine dog lovers. Their dog walkers were polite, and Casper loved going on his daily walks with them.
This one time, Casper got seriously ill as he had ingested a part of his toy which was not edible. We didn't know what to do as it was the first time Casper had gotten this ill, and we were novice pet parents. So, we called Mr n Mrs Pet for assistance, and they connected us with a veterinarian in our area, to whom we rushed and got the procedure done, which made Casper feel much better. Their team called back the next day to know how Casper was doing. I must admit that they care for their pets and their customers.
