5 Celebrities And Their Pets

We love our celebrities and they love us back; but lets be honest they love their pets more than anything. And they have all the reasons to do so! Let us explore this bonding further so we can know why they love their pets so much.

Salman Khan

His love for the dogs he owns is hidden from nobody. He has even said that the dogs teach him patience and forbearance. Salman has owned many dogs. His previous two were called Myson (named after his first pet) and Myjaan (both French Mastiff- Dogue de Bordeaux). He also owns dogs which he has named Mowgli (Labrador Retriever), Saint (St. Bernard), Mylove (Neapolitan Mastiff), & Veer (French Mastiff, now passed away). Salman has expressed the affection he has for the dogs numerous times, once he even cancelled his shoot and flew home when one of his dogs was ill. He nostalgically remembers them as well.

All of the breeds he has possessed (and very proudly showcased) are very muscular and well-built and also require expensive maintenance. They have heavy bones, pendant ears, and a relatively short and well-muscled neck, with a short and broad muzzle. The puppies are available within a range from Rs. 34k to Rs. 340k. Owning such muscular dogs adds some strength to your personality as well. And when you are Salman Khan, it definitely benefits. So if you‟re looking for a breed that enhances the toughness of your aura and will be able to treat them like the royal beings they deserve to be, get one.

Anushka Sharma

She owns a very adorable Labrador named Dude. He keeps featuring in her Instagram feeds as well where one can see the bond they share. Sometimes she sings to him and sometimes they are celebrating Diwali together.

The Labrador is a good natured, hardworking, friendly companion and a useful working dog breed. They have a great sense of smell and can be trained to do almost anything (with a lot of patience required). This breed loves to serve and they love meeting people, which is why they are affectionate to the sick and elderly. Mix Bred Labradors range between Rs.3500–4500. Top quality Show level Labradors range between Rs. 7500–9500. So if you need a companion who will always be there for you, there you go!

Amitabh Bachchan

A personality like him cannot satisfy in small pets. Sir being so great personality (huge built and social status as well), owned a Great Dane named Shanouk. This dog passed away 8 years ago, but they are still searched a lot on the internet. At his demise, AB posted „The gentle warm breeze on a cold morning‟… Just stopped. Shanouk my pet Piranha Dane passed away a short while ago” on his blog.

Great Danes are mainly popular for their huge built, which we can verify by their size in the pictures with AB. Despite of their giant size, they are well natured, playful and friendly with children. Always high on energy, they are easy to groom and train as well. Their prices may vary from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 12000.They love affection and always try to sit on their master‟s lap. These dogs, due to these qualities make a very good house pet. If you want a pet that adds strength to your personality and also be calm, this gentle giant is the best match for you.

Rahul Khanna

Son of the veteran actor, Vinod Khanna, this guy is winning hearts through his Instagram account. One can often see his stories and posts as if his dog owns the account. Such mischievous bonding giving everyone #goals! <3. Although, he owns a great Dane, he has confessed that his favourite breed of dogs is “Indian street dogs”. Recently he found some adorable puppies and put them on his account to find a suitable adopter for them.

Though street dogs in India can be of any breed, but the most popular and dominant among them is the Indian Pariah Dog also known as Indog. They are identified to be the most primitive among dog breeds and make a great watch dog. If introduced to children in early age, they can be very comfortable around them. Else, he may be aggressive around them, so most of its socialization should begin while he is a puppy. They are very economical when compared to other breeds of dogs and can be easily maintained in Rs. 2000-4000 per month, and this itself is a very good reason to go for them.

Alia Bhatt

Unlike most of the Bollywood celebrities, she is a cat person. She owns two cats named Edward Bhatt and Pica Bhatt. Her very first picture with her cat on Instagram fetched a lot of followers for her. Other cat persons kind of got an ambassador. The way she displays her love for the cats, we‟re sure it makes the boys so jealous!

Both of her cats are Persian cats. It is a long-haired breed characterized by its round face and short muzzle. It is a docile, sweet and quite creature. Affectionate but discriminating, a Persian‟s attention is reserved for their family members and some very limited guests, they can trust. They are a peaceful breed and will be content in a sofa if you‟re busy working. They can be available at any price from 8k to 15k. Persian cats make an ideal pet for those who are peace loving and don‟t have very much time to look after a pet.
